LeadStinger LLC (“LeadStinger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://leadstinger.com, submit a form, communicate with us, purchase or use LeadStinger services, or interact with a LeadStinger-powered account.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and business information: name, email address, telephone number, business name, business address, job title, and related account details.
- Account and service information: login and account identifiers, settings, plan and subscription information, support requests, appointment information, communications, and records associated with your use of the services.
- Customer-submitted CRM data: information that a customer or authorized user uploads, enters, imports, or otherwise processes through the services, including information about that customer’s leads, contacts, clients, appointments, communications, and business activities.
- Communications information: email, SMS, call, chat, support, and other communications sent to or through the services, together with related delivery, consent, and opt-out records where available.
- Payment and transaction information: subscription status, billing address, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment-method details provided to us by our payment and platform providers. Payment-card and bank-account information is processed through third-party payment interfaces, including Stripe and HighLevel/LeadConnector. LeadStinger does not intentionally collect or store complete card numbers or bank-account credentials on its own systems.
- Device, usage, and technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source, dates and times, approximate location derived from IP address, and other diagnostic or usage information.
- Cookies and similar technologies: essential, preference, attribution, analytics, and similar technologies used by our website and service providers. The current LeadStinger website uses WordPress/WooCommerce attribution cookies. Additional technologies may be used when disclosed or configured for the applicable service.
2. How we collect information
We may collect information directly from you, from a LeadStinger customer or authorized user, automatically through our website and services, from integrated services you choose to connect, and from vendors that help us provide, secure, bill for, or support the services.
If you use LeadStinger to collect or process information about other people, you are responsible for providing required notices and obtaining required permissions or consent.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- provide, configure, administer, support, and improve the services;
- create and manage accounts, subscriptions, payments, and customer support;
- respond to inquiries and schedule demonstrations, appointments, or onboarding activities;
- send service, security, billing, account, and support communications;
- send marketing email or SMS only as permitted by applicable law and the consent or preferences associated with the communication;
- operate CRM, automation, communications, reporting, and integration features requested by customers;
- monitor performance, prevent fraud or misuse, troubleshoot, secure the services, and enforce our agreements;
- understand website and service usage and measure the source and effectiveness of our communications or advertising; and
- comply with law, legal process, and regulatory obligations.
4. SMS and email communications
Where a form or other consent mechanism offers SMS communications, the applicable disclosure controls the type of messages requested. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe method included in the message. Transactional, billing, security, account, or requested support communications may still be sent when permitted by law.
LeadStinger does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to communications and technology service providers solely as needed to deliver messages, operate the services, prevent fraud, or comply with law. SMS consent is not transferred to third parties for unrelated marketing.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- to service providers that support hosting, CRM functionality, communications, analytics, payments, customer support, security, and other operations;
- to third-party services or integrations selected or authorized by the customer;
- when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process;
- when reasonably necessary to protect LeadStinger, our customers, users, or the public from fraud, misuse, security threats, or harm;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law; or
- with your direction or consent.
We do not disclose customer data to third parties for their unrelated use merely because the data is processed through LeadStinger.
6. Customer CRM data and roles
LeadStinger customers determine what data they enter or connect and how they use CRM, communications, automation, and related features. When LeadStinger processes personal information on a customer’s behalf, that customer is responsible for its collection and use of the information, including required notices, consent, and response to privacy requests. Individuals with questions about data controlled by a LeadStinger customer should ordinarily contact that customer first.
7. Cookies and choices
You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking some cookies may limit portions of the website or services. Where required, we will provide additional controls or notices for non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, administer an account or subscription, complete transactions, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the services, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the information, the service involved, the customer’s instructions, and applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No service, storage method, or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Customers and users are responsible for protecting their credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
10. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing or to obtain a portable copy of certain information.
To submit a request, contact support@leadstinger.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If the information is controlled by a LeadStinger customer, we may direct your request to that customer or assist the customer as required by applicable law.
11. Children’s privacy
LeadStinger services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review the matter.
12. Third-party services and links
Our website and services may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy notices and terms govern their independent practices. LeadStinger is not responsible for a third party’s independent privacy or security practices.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law.
